Private Pilot License
The Private Pilot License issued by the SACAA allows the holder to act as pilot-in-command of an aircraft for non-commercial purposes. It allows you to fly single-engine aircraft under visual flight rules. It is the first major step in pilot training.
Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 17 years
- Aviation Medical Certificate Class 2
- English Level 5
- Mathematics Core Level 5
- Science Subjects
The Night Rating
Night rating is issued as an additional endorsement that allows the holder of a valid private pilot licence to operate an aircraft at night under visual flight rules
Requirements:
- Valid PPL
